You entered this field to offer creative care—real, human, heart-centered care.
But somewhere between tending others and tending yourself, the rhythm frayed.

Community feels scattered and misaligned. Trainings feel outdated and shallow. And too often - service comes at the cost of self, leaving you wondering if the work is worth the monumental effort it requires.

Cottage Confluence is your invitation back to balance: a guided mentorship for postpartum healing artists—doulas, chefs, bodyworkers, lactation specialists, acupuncturists, and caregivers—who are ready to serve others without self-sacrifice.

Here, your inner life and your livelihood grow together.

The Mentorship Journey

The Cottage

Weeks 1–4

We begin by redefining our intentions in service and connecting to what inspires us about helping others. Drawing from Ayurvedic teachings and Zen Buddhist temple form, we will explore and establish authentic, individual daily rhythms through morning and evening routines as well as meal-time anchor points throughout the day. Together, we will redefine what sustainable service looks like before building outward.

The Garden

Weeks 5–8

Structure your client offerings around your life’s natural flow. Guidance on crafting services around your authentic gifts and specialized knowledge, pricing, structure, and schedule—plus hands-on cooking, treatment, and postpartum anatomy + physiology classes with Morgan to deepen your connection to nourishment as a living practice.

Learn the 4-phase postpartum involution framework I created to organize my best-selling private client programs. We go DEEP on what physiologic mother-baby support truly is and how it differs from other scopes in play on the postpartum field.

The River

Weeks 9–12

Bring everything into motion. Create repeatable systems that are automated where possible, connect with community, and expand into consistent bookings.

Integrate training from the private hospitality sector to understand how to operate on a professional level in a client’s private home, watch me in discovery calls with expecting families, learn how to curate a referral list of highly skilled practitioners and build collaborative care teams that are available when your clients need them.

Your business begins to flow effortlessly and sustainably.

Weeks 13-24

The Living Practice

The second half of Cottage Confluence is a 3 month living apprenticeship container where you can learn from me and each other.
As you work directly with your clients, join twice-weekly shared office hours in both Slack and Zoom. In Zoom, join to quietly work on practice tasks with your cohort mirroring for increased productivity. We’ll have a guided opening for intention setting and a closing dedication for accountability. In Slack, submit what you’re working on with questions for feedback from me during office hours that everyone in the mentorship can review. This gives each you incredible insight beyond what you alone are currently focusing on.

We’ll have live, guided case-study review rounds and surprise guest hosts in Slack office hours across the 12 content themes following the taught sessions to deepen and expand your knowledge. Human design experts will review your schedules and structures, professional chefs will offer feedback on your menus and daily work order, my private team and past clients will guest in to discuss the behind-the-scenes structure of our collaborative care model + more!

A small cohort of diverse practitioners learn together—sharing real-world experiences, reflections, and insight.
This is where expertise becomes embodied wisdom.

About Morgan

Chef · Doula · Mentor

Hi, I’m Morgan! I’m a woman-of-many hats - chef, gardener, doula and mentor. I’ve spent over a decade tending to mothers and mentoring caregivers in Los Angeles and worldwide. My clientele has included high profile and high net-worth athletes, touring musicians, actors and CEOs of major companies and brands.

Before pivoting into doula care in 2014, I was an organic farmer and gardener at Green Gulch Farm, part of the San Francisco Zen Center where I lived in residence as a student of Japanese Soto Zen Buddhism in a traditional monastic work and temple daily form.

The foundation of my practice is built from my own studies with Ayurvedic doctors and practitioners. I combined what I learned about traditional Ayurvedic postpartum practices with my own unique background and expertise in food and farming, and then expanded it through years of business experimentation - with nearly constant restructuring and evaluating what was working - not only for my clients and revenue, but for my nervous system and quality of life. Ultimately, my star structure became a high-ticket model of only 4-5 clients per year to avoid overextending and burning out.

Now eleven years into my own practice - there are more families needing skilled postpartum support than I alone can accomodate, and so I’ve built the mentorship structure that I know could have skyrocketed my own practice in a much shorter timeframe when I first began, as well as a new service, Cottage Concierge to connect doulas mentored in my methods with expecting families

My mentorship approach weaves farm-to-table nourishment, Ayurvedic ritual, and solution-oriented creative business strategy. I bring my unparalleled knowledge of this vulnerable and precious phase —to support healing artists in creating the kind of practice that can sustain a career for the long-term.

Have Questions?

  • The mentorship is 6 months long. For the first 3 months, we’ll meet once a week on Saturday mornings on Zoom for 90-minute sessions (10:00-11:30 PST to accommodate multiple timezones). Each Zoom session includes guided teaching, reflection, and mentorship support. You’ll have access to all replays and materials, so you can move at your own pace if you miss a session.

  • No — the mentorship welcomes both new and established practitioners and certification is not required. Whether you’re just beginning your work with postpartum families or refining an existing practice, Cottage Confluence can help you grow from wherever you are at the moment.

  • Most students dedicate about 2–4 hours per week — including our live sessions, reflection prompts, and self-paced practice assignments. You’re encouraged to integrate the teachings gradually, allowing them to fold naturally into your daily rhythm and client work.

  • Cottage Confluence is not a certification course — it’s a guided, integrative and interactive living mentorship that combines practical Ayurvedic postpartum education with business sustainability, inner work, and community. It’s designed to help you not just serve others well, but also remain deeply nourished in your own path of service.

  • Yes, but to the waitlist only. You may pay in full or choose a three-installment payment plan during pre-enrollment if you are a waitlist subscriber. Payment details are shared when enrollment opens, and all plans include access to the same materials, mentorship calls, and bonuses.
